In the Spring of 1996, he witnessed the birth of multimedia, a new era that combined graphics and technology. Intrigued by the possibilities, Marcus enrolled in Digital Imaging, one of the first PhotoShop classes ever offered. From there, he mastered a variety of multimedia courses including: 2-D animation, Flash, and several advanced 3-D animation classes.

In April of 2000 , Marcus accepted a position as a Multimedia Artist in the Broadcast Services department of the Dallas Independent School District. At the time, this position was the only one of itʼs kind in DISD. Marcus worked on a multitude of educational, award-winning programs, ranging from the elementary level, to high school. In addition, he was responsible for developing and managing over a dozen websites, print work, photography, and creating impactful and animated presentations for the Superintendent.

In his personal time, he indulged in his own creative projects. For instance, an interactive CD- ROM for children ages 3 and up. His main objective was to incorporate 3-D graphics into a 2-D game.

Ready for a new challenge, Marcus attempted his hand at producing video, and succeeded. This was a natural transition, and one of the few forms of media that incorporates everything he has ever learned. Now he creates high-end, professional videos for companies such as TONI&GUY, who has trusted Marcus year after year with their promotional videos, and their educational DVDs.
